Re-gas existing gas struts and save money
Re-gassing of struts is not something you should attempt to do yourself. In cases where a gas strut is in good condition and does not have a broken seal, a re-gas will get you up and running fast and save you from having to buy a new gas strut.
Over time, all gas struts lose gas, which in turn reduces the effectiveness of the gas strut. If you notice that your gas struts no longer function as they should, give us a Call.
An average lifespan of a gas strut is around 5 years, depending on the quality of the components inside the gas strut. A re-gas of your existing gas struts will set you up for around 5 years of life and is a more cost effective option than replacing them with new gas struts. In some cases, where a gas strut is poor quality or broken, a re-gas will not be an option. If this is the case, we’ll let you know and give you an alternative solution.
